Virgin Active South Africa - cancel gym contract

My son has cancelled his contract in advance at Virgin Active Shop F53, The Sanctuary Broadway Boulevard & De Beers Road, Somerset West. Virgin Active has sent us a link to pay the penalty fee of 2023.55 which I did paid. There is actually no proof that they will cancel my debit order. I try to contact them, and they keep on putting me through to another person. After 3 time and I was first in line I had to cancel the call. I cannot wait all day. I want to know what I can do legally. JC Badenhorst
