Virgin Active South Africa

After two years when my contract with Virgin active has been cancelled, I receive an SMS that says I owe Virgin Active. Even worse is that, I never received any notifications, calls or emails from them about my account that is outstanding. When I ask for the contracts that I have signed I am informed that my account has been handed over to the lawyers. Lawyers don't even want to entertain that and they do not want to give me that contract. All they are concerned about is me paying. To everyone with Virgin Active make sure that your contract gets cancelled and always keep proof. That was my downfall, I do not have proof that it was cancelled.
