Virgin Active Sandton CBD Theft

Be careful with valuables. Use a strong lock and rather leave important things in the car or lockers in the corridors (that are visible to cameras).

My second time at Virgin Active Sandton CBD, my lock was broken and laptops ****** out of the men's locker room.

Not much was done after reviewing camera footage outside of the locker room (since no cameras are allowed inside). The feedback was that 'no one looked suspicious' and that it is hard for them to accuse anyone.

Ultimately, as with all other incidents I read about - there is a Disclaimer on the wall so Virgin Active is not liable.

It's disappointing having lost valuable goods and not to have felt assisted and no real accountability taken. I question the safety and protocols.

Just a message to all to be vigilant and rather leave things in your car.
