Virgin active rules only for certain people

Virgin active Thornhill Polokwane.This has according to virgin active been a rule forever but never inforced in the last 3 years "Junior members, under the age of 14 years, must be accompanied and actively supervised at all times by their parent(s)/legal guardian(s), who must be present either in the pool or on the pool deck. Even if a junior member, under the age of 14 years, is participating in a swimming lesson/squad training under the instruction of a swim coach, the parent(s)/ legal guardian(s) remains accountable for the safety and behaviour of their child/children throughout the duration of the swimming lesson/squad training. "

I also included the definition of legal guardian:A legal guardian acts as the primary caretaker of a child or minor. This person may be personally selected by the child's biological parents, or appointed by the court. Guardianship arrangements are necessary when a child's biological parents are unable to provide care.Dec 13, 2017.

Your clubs implements this rule only on selected people and tell me that I am not allowed to leave the club when my child is training with a swimming coach.

First of all your rule states the parent or legal guardian should be either in the pool or on the pool deck,so parents drinking coffee,working out or sitting in the waiting area are also outside the rules??

Secondly do you check if each person the accompanies a junior to your club is in fact the legal guardian of that child,you say I can't leave my child in the care of her coach as she is not the legal guardian.

Please explain to me if a grandparent, family member or family friend brings a junior to practice what do you do ? They are not seen as the legal guardian unless they are the primary care giver to the child,don't tell me that for that duration the are the gaurdian because then I would like to make the coach the legal guardian for the duration of my child's daily training and you already told me it can't be done.

When you want to enforce your rules you need to do it correctly and not only on selected people.

The last time I looked I still had the right to be treated equally,please explain to me then who gives virgin active Thornhill the right to enforce their rules on only certain people??
