Virgin Active - Ripps off Existing Customers Beware

The company signs new members on a 12 month special and at the end of the contract , they put up your premium by 44% , without a discussion or approval. They debit your bank account with the new amount and tell you specials are only for new clients. On phoning Head Office they tell you that they are recording the call and when you say you are also recording the call, they tell you that they are canceling the call. This company is only interested in new clients and not their existing members. Subsequently the gyms are so full, you battle to get to use the equipment. Shocking attitude!
