Virgin Active Ripped my Son in Law off

My son in law, 20 years of age however only has a grade 9 education. he is the brightest. He had no job, no car, no money and relies on me to feed, clothe him etc He lives with me, and i support them both. He is doing his grade 10 at Brainline and is therefore a student. He has no credit history however had opened a Capitec account. He went to Virgin Active as he wanted to go to gym expecting me to pay, or not realizing he had to pay monthly. they let him sign up a 12 month contract with no job or surety or bank statements. Within the first month i found out about contract as he could not pay it, i tried to have it cancelled HOWEVER VIRGIN ACTIVE STATED HE WAS OVER 18 AND THEREFORE RESPONSIBLE, I have seen many people that are over 18 but cannot even read or write. An attorney friend said we should not be held responsible to pay the cancellation fee etc. HOWEVER VIRGIN ACTIVE THEN THREATENED LEGAL ACTION IF HE FAILED TO PAY AND WOULD ULTIMATELY GIVE HIM A BAD CREDIT RECORD BECAUSE THEY ALLOW ANYONE TO JOIN UP. THE HOMELESS PEOPLE PLEASE JOIN UP AT VIRGIN ACTIVE, A NICE PLACE TO SHOWER, AND SPEND THE COLD/HOT DAYS IN COMFORT, THEY WILL TRY TO SUE but you will get a nice place stay
