Virgin Active refusing to cancel contract

I have requested Virgin Active to cancel my contract in December after realising them sending me messages despite my one year which ended in the month of August 2020. They have not heeded to my request and keep on inflating and trying to debit my account despite me telling that my membership is cancelled. I will have to escalate to the ombudsman as they havent phoned me after my last complaint.
