Virgin Active Red Jabulani
I am member of Virgin Active Red in Jabulani, I was so disappointed in the services that we had this morning. We arrived at the gym to attend our usually class which is cycling at 8:00am but to find out the was no electricity. no one communicated with us from the entrance about the situation at hand. We asked if there will be a class available today but no one said anything. The cycling instructor asked if there was plan B(which is the charged speaker) but was told the speaker was not charged due to electricity problem that they had from yesterday around 4pm. We waited for a good 30 minutes only to be told the class was cancelled and nothing can be done at this moment.
We decided to do our own little workout since we were already here. I then asked if there will be any Grid class available at 9:00am, and i was told to continue with the exercises i was busy with. He then said due to the flat speaker we cannot play any music therefore the class wont be available. Funny enough we had boot camp class on Tuesday without any music and the class was a success. I then proceeded to ask if we should come tomorrow for classes? one of the staff members said we must still come to gym but i asked how do i come to gym when no one is coordinating exercises because of electricity problem. Another staff member said we can go to other branches after i have asked so many times without any reply.
My issue here is why there was no communication sent to us via telephone or management to communicate this issue at the reception to inform us of the situation. They knew about the electricity issue since yesterday at 4PM. We coordinated our own exercises while the staff members were just standing there looking confused. Their communication is late and not clear in Jabulani. They treat us like they are doing us a favour and we have free memberships. Why don't we have a generator if this is going to be a reason we cancel classes due to electricity issue. This service is not acceptable at all. We need to have clear communication from management and staff unlike forcing them to communicate when we have situations like these.
