Virgin active red account 2011 arrears

Virgin active is rejecting me from entry to their facilities. Apparently i owe them R2200 since 2011. Its 7 years later and still they tell me there is an outstanding balance. My contract was cancelled back in 2011. I dont keep any records of my communication with them relating to 2011? They also never contacted me? All they tell me, there is notes on their system. No proof. Me and my wife want to join virgin because its close to my home, but now because they reject me, she also wont join they gym. Thats already R780 lost in sales per month just because they after R2200 from 2011.... ?? Realy. Virgin active red little falls only had 12 people at 7:30pm monday 30 july. Now they want to loose another 2 customer? I am happy to join viva gym if they dont clear my account.
