VIRGIN ACTIVE poor staff awareness and service

If you want to join a gym, don't go for virgin active. Their cancellation policy is flawed, even their employees do not know the "new policy" I cancelled my account in April at the branch and till this day, money is being debited from my account. I called the call centre and they said there was no record of my cancellation... ***? How because I went there personally to cancel. Then they tell me that I was supposed to call them first... how exactly was I supposed to know as this was supposed to be announced when I went to the branch. That's R1200 I can't get back!
