Virgin Active - only sales hungry

In March I visited the Randburg branch and enquired about available memberships. I was given an option of signing up with Northgate and would receive reciprocity with Randburg due to "Load Shedding". I was not informed that this would be for only 6 months of my contract due to the fact that inverters were being installed. On 21st Aug I was denied access to Randburg. I have tried to sort out this issue, saying that I would like to cancel my contract and should not be charged cancellation fees due to the incorrect information given. It has taken me 2 weeks of visits and emails and still no response. Today (31st Aug) I received an SMS informing me that the reciprocity would cease 1st Sept - why have I been denied access since 21st Aug and why do I not receive the courtesy of feedback to my requests. Every time I have visited the gym to request feedback I get attended to by another sales consultant - it seem that all that Virgin Active are interested in is contracting new members and do not care less about existing members. Word of mouth is a strong marketing tool!
