Virgin Active offers utterly pathetic service making it impossible to cancel a contract

Never in my life have I received such pathetic service. McDonald's works better than Virgin Active. None of the consultants appear to know how to transfer a call. I called Virgin Active almost 9 times this morning, each time I have had to hold on the line for 10 minutes and each time the consultant drops the call. I am leaving the country and trying to cancel my contract. Virgin Active confirmed a month ago that they would cancel my contract but they are still debiting my account! The people are incredibly *********** and do not even have the decency to give you a call back after dropping the call on you.
