Virgin Active Northgate - All business no heart!

<p>I joined Virgin Active Northgate on the second week of January this year. Everything was going well for two weeks until one day I hear my car mentioned on the AP system. I went to reception to find the window of my car had been completely broken ,right infront of reception. </p> <p> </p> <p>I left, opened a case with the SAPS and called Virgin Active Northgate's manager Phumzile to inform her of what had happened and to ask for a review of the cameras. </p> <p> </p> <p>Here's the thing, my car was not the only one there, it is not the most expensive, it was parked at reception's sight and there is a boomgate but yet whoever attached my car chose it and managed to get away, despite there being a security guard-manned boomgate. </p> <p> </p> <p>When I spoke to Phumzile she promised she would help get to the bottom of what happened by speaking to security and requesting footage, then she disappeared. A coulple of days later she called and during the conversation she asked if I am back at the gym, I said I was too freaked out about what happened and especially not knowing how it happened. To that she laughed and said I was being ridiculous. She then made promises of getting the footage and seeing how she can help me get back to the gym. That was two weeks ago, I have not heard a thing, I called and she was in "meetings". </p> <p> </p> <p>I have not been able to go back to the gym in two weeks because I am freeked out, I would like to view the footage which I hope will give me the answers to get over what has happpened. To ask me to go to the gym and park my car where it was attached in full view of the security guards, now that is ridiculous.</p> <p> </p> <p>Crime is rife in this city, the SAPS is useless but the way I have been treated by Virgin Active Northgate was a shocker for me. I guess it is because whether I go to the gym or not, Virgin Active still gets its money. </p> <p> </p> <p>Phumzile, you have ruined my Virgin Active experience. Thanks.</p>
