Virgin Active Moses Mabhida

Virgin Active Moses Mabhida Collection Club has been deteriorating for the past 2 years as a Collection club and the only 1 in KZN, the air-con unit has been decommissioned since November 2023, while the members are having difficulty to breathe fresh air within the club, they are battling to find equipment that work. the strength machines and weights are being painted at the back of the club every few months to give it a fresh look but never replaced. the Treadmills are always out of order, Members are playing musical chairs to find one that works before getting their fitness day started. the lockers in both the Male and Female change rooms are broken/damaged or rust on the hinges. its the only Collection club that does not have Digital locks on the locker doors. the hairdryers are positioned in such a way so members can dry any part of their body (including their feet and groin areas) Showers are always out of order, either the soap dispenser, shower door or shower head not functioning. the cycle studio has numerous bikes out of order and placed at the back to make the studio look full. the Jacuzzi pumps never function for more than a week, the water is also ice cold and members are told this is due to the air-con unit being decommissioned. management had been replaced due to the numerous complaints brought forward by members. now the new CGM offers members to downgrade the membership rather than compensate for the gyms issues. with a downgrade option, members can no longer use Collection gyms outside of KZN, so for anyone who is thinking of Joining this Club, DONT! you do not get what you pay for, any when questioned, they tell you to leave.
