Virgin Active Moreletapark Dirty Aircon & Rude Manager

<p>Good Day,</p> <p> </p> <p>I have been avoiding virgin active moreletapark for the past year or so as I started experiencing breathing problems and shortness of breath everytime I visit there (and specifically only there). When I did some research, I found out that dirty air-conditioning can cause these type of symptoms. I also noticed that the air-filters in all the return-air grilles is missing.</p> <p>When I complained at the manager on duty and requested to see the HVAC maintenance logbook, she told me it is not her department and I should go to another club if it bothers me. This is unacceptable, why do I need to go to another club just because VA is not doing regular maintenance on the HVAC system? I would also like to know why I am not allowed to see the maintenance logs? Something to hide?The health and safety of your members should come first at all times.</p> <p> </p> <p>I urge any other members who are experiencing the same breathing problems as I to come forward, maybe VA Moreletapark will then do something about it.</p> <p> </p> <p>Regards,</p> <p>Frikkie</p>
