Virgin Active - money hungry even after you cancel.

I called virgin active to cancel my wife and my membership. The young man on the phone tried to get me to put a hold on the package and see if I would reconsider. I politely declined and asked him to just cancel the memberships. He then advised me that the last debit order would have been my last and there was nothing left to pay. Awesome!

Today I get a call that my account is in arrears as my wifes contract was not cancelled. I was not advised that her contract would not be cancelled and 2 months later they are asking for the 2 months payments, then they want to charge a double payment when we do cancel.

This is honestly the worst I have ever been treated, I had been a member of virgin active multiple times for many years and never in my life did I think they would stoop this low. But going by their current rating it is obvious that customers are the last thing they are worried about.
