VIRGIN ACTIVE & MDB DEBT COLLECTOR

A Sale person from Virgin Active convinced me to join Virgin Active in 2013 but I told her about my tight schedule of work and the slim chances for me to make it to the gym. The sale person advise me that they were to arrange a programme for me to develop gym habit. She call me once to come to gym to collect my membership and do that standard examination. Since then I did not hear from the sale person or virgin active team (Polokwane Peter Mokaba). I was paying for the gym but never set foot from 2013 up to 2016.
To my surprise, I got the first telephone call from virgin active this year March saying I'm owing them money. I ask them money for what? And they say for my membership. I explained to them I have never used they gym since 2013.
I went to virgin active offices at Peter Mokaba to seek understanding. They gave me two options: a) pay 50% of the money that is "owing" and maintain membership or b) pay full "owing amount" that is the end. I asked them to give me a bit of time decide on the best way given the old unfulfilled promise and what new virgin active management promises & commitment. I was told the person who was supposed to help me then left virgin active year ago.
While I was given a chance to decide by Peter Mokaba Virgin active management decide given options I had, I received a call from virgin active head office regarding "outstanding money". I after this call I decided I must end this bad relationship I had with virgin active. I went to virgin active for determination and I paid the money that they were asking for in full. Relationship end.
After a few weeks, I got a call from MDB harassing me to saying I'm owing them money on behalf of virgin active. I told them I'm paid up and ended my contract. They must check with virgin active.
I went to Peter Mokaba Virgin Active and spoke to the lady manager. The manager said it must not be case because I'm paid up. She will call her head office and resolve the matter.
Today, 11/06/2016, I got a call from your debt collect damaging payment. I ask them to check with Virgin Active and they refused. They insist that I must go to virgin active and virgin active to call them in my presence. I don't understand this.

My frustrations:
a) I was paying for your gym but never used it for more than three years.
b) The false promises by your sale person.
c) Lack of handover when a person leaves your organisation.
d) Not follow-up on member who are not coming to gym maybe they are dead or physical disabled or other reasons. Virgin active is only interested in taking money from member on a monthly basis no matter the member circumstances.
e) Why give me options and time to decide but in the background running a process of handing over to your debt collect without telling nothing.
f) Your management at Peter Mokaba are talking a totally different story.
g) Your debt collector is arrogate that they will not check with your offices but were instructed by your office.
h) Peter Mokaba Virgin Active management what have they done up to now to communicate with your debt collector since I spoke to her.
I) Going to Peter Mokaba Virgin Active to talk about the same issue.

“My former virgin Active membership card No: ********** 044”
