Virgin Active Lorraine fails working moms

So what is a working mom to do? I was considering joining Virgin Active Lorraine to get back into shape, but when I went for my comp session I noticed a sign that stated that no kids over 7 are allowed in the children's area. When hubby asked one of the sales people at the gym what they offer for kids over 7 years the reply was simply that they dont offer childminding fascilities for kids of that age...they just have to sit in the reception area or play around on the PC, oh yes...or they can swim without supervision because there is nobody to watch them. But wait.....that's not all....I would have to pay around R70 per child per month to just sit there and wait for me to finish my workout. That's not acceptable. Gym fees are expensive as it is. Not impressed at all with Virgin Active Lorraine's attitude on this. They have money to replace (one can't call it an upgrade when I listen to all the complaints from the regulars) all the equipment but not provide a safe facility for kids over 7? According to me kids of 7 and 12 are still children and still need to be supervised. Fitness fanatics are quick to judge moms. It's not just time that's the problem. It's lack of facilities too.
