Virgin Active Lenasia, Jhb - Devious sales tactics, no customer service

Really exhausted from repeating my complaint to the manager and sales manager at Virgin Active Lenasia, Johannesburg! Joined the gym on 27 January, (1) i was told we would not pay for March and April....NOT ONCE DID THE CONSULTANT MENTION WE WOULD HAVE TO TRAIN 4 TIMES by a certain dates in order to not be charged so the debit order went off again on 1 March. (2) I double checked that the 1st debit order would only go off at the end of February - the consultant confirmed this...the debit order went off on 1 February... (3) I was not told upfront about card fees upon joining so had to pay money at the end of signing up... (4) my 13 year old was signed up at no charge.... on subsequent visits to the gym his card did not work. only to find out that his contract was cancelled because it was not signed. The sales manager stepped in to assist and got that one sorted... i have approached the manager with my complaint of the sales man not giving us all the facts upfront, we are finding out bits and pieces as we go along. The sales man obviously just lies and tells them he has informed us of all these details. To date, the manager has not had the decency to even call me back. The sales manager was able to assist initially but now seems to be uninterested in helping me fix the problem that we were charged for March which we should not have been. And by the way, how does Virgn Active manage the free 2 months on condition that you need to have been to the gym a certain amount of days before a certain date, when LOADSHEDDING has taken over our days. Not once during any of our visits to the gym has the reception team encouraged us to write our cards details down during loadshedding informing us that we would lose the free membership if our cards are not swiped. A really really bad experience with Virgin Active who seem to have no after service. Devious ploys by salesman just to get people signed up then you get ignore when you have complaints and come backs.
