Virgin Active is a ****

I signed a contract with virgin active , at my work place from sales consultant from sunning hill club and his name was Siboniso. I specifically signed a contract that had “ a said club name on the contract” , but this consultant decided to put tramshed on the system. Now when I had to go to my “said club”, to activate my membership and get a card , they telling I was signed with tramshed for a period of 2 years , a club that’s more than 40 minutes away from where I stay.

We called the manager at the sunninghill to lay our complaint with the “said club “ as they were trying to assist me and he said he first said his not at work , next thing he doesn’t know him , lastly he stopped taking our calls.

Now I am expected to pay for a gym that I won’t have access to , we called the head office At the first they said they won’t be able to assist me and I was like how ?

How can I be wasting my time , money and resources to solve a mess that was created by a person that was trained by Virgin active.

I never got assisted.

Sunninghill manager responded and said they will have it cancelled with the head office. each time I got to “said club” to start a new membership, they tell me it’s still not cancelled.

I gave up and last year I got an email that my contract was cancelled, months after the incident, I was like finally.

Little did I know , today I tried to re-join the gym

They telling I can’t enjoy any specials and I won’t be able to rejoin without paying R2000 because I failed to pay the previous membership.

How because that membership, was never activated and was supposed to be cancelled.

I called again the head office and the last guy that was helping me was so rude and told I need to go sunninghill and try to sort it out with the manager.

How is this now my problem , I already told you that we did try So now again I must waste my time and money and do a job that is supposed to be done by virgin active.

Serious this has been a nonsensical service and I can’t believe I got to experience such .
