VIRGIN ACTIVE IS A ****!!!

I'm really disappointed with Virgin Active South Africa. When I signed up, the consultant promised me a fixed rate for 2 years, which is why I joined. But they've increased my fees by 37.39% to R2550 in January, which is way more than the R2320 max rate in my contract.

The consultant was super pushy and **** to me just to make a sale. I've been emailing a service consultant, but they haven't once asked who signed me up - it seems like they don't care about fixing the problem or dealing with bad staff.

They told me to go to the gym to sort it out, which is weird... Because then WHY DO YOU HAVE CUSTOMER CARE?

I still haven't gotten the merchandise they PROMISED when I joined last year! When I tried to cancel, they wanted over R20000 - how is this reasonable?

If you're thinking of joining Virgin Active, be careful. Their customer service is bad, and they don't seem to care about their customers.
