Virgin Active incident

I had an incident at Cape Gate Virgin Active whereby I slipped and fell hurting my hand arm and leg in your ladies changing rooms due to very wet floors. Firstly I was leaving the shower area and no warning signs of wet floors visible out in the changing area. Surely there should have been signs showing cleaning and wet / slippery floors.

One of the spin instructors saw me and helped and have reported this to the reception.

We highlighted that cleaners should not be in there during peak hours this is crazy! Cleaners can not throw soap water out and work 3 meters away.

The floors in the change rooms are constantly wet.

Cleaners mop around people while is showers etc...this is dangerous for all.

I am not happy and hugely disappointed. I fell so hard and was shaking and felt totally humiliated and was embarrassed to fall on the floor in front of other women. This is completely unacceptable as I am now unable to continue with my “hectic" training schedule

I am loosing Months of very hard training long hours and now having to start over...setting me back from goals. This is going to be a physical and financial setback having to go for physio etc Huge disappointment
