Virgin Active Gym cancellation issue

I recently tried cancelling my contract. I was then told I needed to pay a fee even though I opened my contract over 3 years ago. I then proceeded to confirm that I accept the cancellation fee and that the amount should come off my account in the next few hours. Nothing came off my account and now I got no confirmation that my contract was canceled. CANCEL MY CONTRACT PLEASE VIRGIN ACTIVE.
