Virgin Active Greenacres in Port Elizabeth is a second-class gymnasium facility.

From dilapidated bathroom fittings to the swivel entrance door at reception that has not worked for several months, to a steam room bath door which cannot be fixed for two weeks now, and treadmills which slip, do not work, are calibrated in miles instead of kilometres, to brown water coming out of the drinking fountains.

I do not receive a response from my numerous email complaints on the Virgin Active website, accompanied by photos, and yet, Virgin Active is happy to increase our annual premium.

I am Premium member and could use the other two Virgin Active clubs in Port Elizabeth, which by the way are far superior to Greenacres in everything mentioned above, but it suites me to use Greenacres as my offices are literally around the corner.
