Virgin Active George Useless

I would like to use this platform to express my absolute disgust with Virgin Active George and Virgin Active in general. I was involved in a dispute with another member that constantly dropped his weights to the point of damaging it. I approached the member of course as the staff couldn't do their job to address the member of his ill manners and to not drop the weights. This then transpired in the member cussing me out to the point I had to action in tapping him with my mobile phone to not speak to me in the manner he did, he then responded by assaulted me and continued cussing at me. After a hour the member and his father approached me to ask for forgiveness and to move on in which I agreed. My bad experience started when Virgin Active got involved. I was asked to not train until Virgin Active has came up with a inquiry system to meet with both of us. Virgin Active took a week and a half to conduct this meeting after this incident happened. After this meeting with John Justus a supposed manager of a club in Cape Town he promised me feedback within 4 days of the meeting happened initially. To my surprise John couldn't keep his word and deadline date given initially by him and he kept me on a line for an additional four days. John finally came to a decision after 2 and a half weeks after the incident to suspend my membership with 3 months. Note he gave the same suspension to this member that assaulted me in the club and John justified my suspension by calling my actions "physical contact has been made". His decision is absolutely unfair and his response time to emails, promised deadlines is a joke. I wouldn't recommend Virgin Active to anyone of the general public. I was a member of this club for 13 years and defended their equipment after the staff didn't do their job and this is the way they treat the situation and a member that came to their aid.
