Virgin Active Durban (Westville) unfair dismisal of personal trainer

<p>i have been with virgin active for many years now, i have made the wesville gym my main gym as i have found a trainer that is ethical, cnsistant and doeasnt waste my time but his contract has been temrinated due to an incident which was sparked by another trainer.</p> <p>the trainer in question threw a shake bottle in the middle of gym and hit another member on the back of the head which was probably meant for my trainer, further more he had instigated a fight outside of the gym with my trainer and has recieved no punishment and is still training at the gym while my trainer has been terminated.</p> <p>the fight did nt take place on the Virgin Active premises nor was it instigated by my trainer, so i would like to know why the gym has been involved and yet nothing has been done about the bottle throwing incident which had occured on the gyms premises and injured a member.</p> <p>how can punishment be served this unfairly when it is clearly someone elses fault, might i assume it is a racial decision? just a thought!</p> <p>my trainers career is now falling to pieces not because of him but because of someone else who had a grievance with him and decided to take matters into thier own hands.</p> <p> </p> <p>i now sit widout a trainer who has come to know my injuries and how to work around them and what support i need, i have no interest in using any of the other trainers in gym as i have been to many of them and they are not competant as him and just after your money.</p> <p> </p> <p>i would like feedback as to what is being done about this issue and why is my trainer being treated unfairly? also yourl have now set back my training program and is ths issue is not addressed i would like my contract cancelled and will follow my PT elsewhere.</p>
