Virgin Active does not look after its members!!!!
On the 1st June 2015 whilst walking from the swimming pool tot he change rooms I slipped on a very wet floor and fell. I was attended to, quite competently by the staff at the gym until my husband came to take me to the hospital. Although I did not suffer any break I severely damaged the muscles and tendons in my shoulder. I was given an injection and a script for medication and sent home with my arm in a sling. As I had run out of medical aid I decided to claim from Virgin Active for my medical bills as I felt it was their responsibility to care for their members whilst they are on their property and that leaving pools of water on the floor was contradictory to this. My claim was rejected by Virgin Actives insurance Company \as it is considered that there is no legal liability on the part of our client"and was asked to \"" be reminded of the terms and conditions of your Virgin Active Membership"
Thank you so much for taking my call today.

Robyn
