Virgin Active does not allow virtual cards

I have just been told by the lady at reception that we can no longer use our virtual cards. I use an app called Stocard to store my cards like rewards cards etc. The reason is that VA is losing money on replacement cards. This is ridiculous. VA is so greedy and this is very disappointing to say the least.
