Virgin Active Dishonest

<p>I joined the Virgin Active situtated in Meyersdal in 2015. I had mis-placed my contact, and have noticed that my monthly instalment has increased. Upon calling to find out when the 2 year contract will expire. I was advised that it was automatically renewed!!!!!! According to the Consumer Protection Act, I was supposed to have been contacted by the supplier (the Gym) 40 - 80 prior to the expiry for me to make an informed decision? I was not called and more money is deducted without my authorisation!!!! I am now asked to come in to cancel or I can do it telephonically. I do not trust these people.</p>
