Virgin Active Consultants Misleading People for sales

I took a Virgin Active (Waterstone Village) membership towards the end of June. My momentum premier was suppose to be effective from 1 July 2017. At the time of joining my premier status was showing starter which means I only get 10% discount which means I will need to pay R742.50 by the 1st of June. I then said to the consultant, his name is Phiwe. I will rather wait for momentum to update my multiply status to premier so that I can get a higher discount. He then said its not a problem, i can join now, they will deduct the R742.50 for July however once my status get upgraded to premier they will refund me the amount and I will have to re-join as a premier member at R618.32 and pay for a card fee of R140. My status was upgraded in the middle of July, I asked Phiwe about the progress on my refund. Phiwe said the administrators are working on it. Come 1 August a deduction of R618.32 goes through. on 2 August I again asked Phiwe on what is the status on the refund, all of a sudden Phiwe tells me to contact Momentum. I told him this is not what he sold to me. I was wanted to wait a month before joining he convinced me to join and fed me with false information so that he can make a sale.

Even though I doubted what he told me, but because Virgin Active seems like a reputable organisation, I trusted him. Guys please be careful of Phiwe from Virgin Active Waterstone Village in Cape Town.

I also referred a friend of mine whom was uncomfortable with his conduct as he asked for her card number information in order for him to pay her joining fee.. she became uncomfortable and cancelled her membership before she even joined.
