Virgin Active Claremont Steam Room and Sauna

When is Virgin Active Claremont going to reopen its steam room and sauna? These facilities were withdrawn without consultation in October (?), ostensibly as a water-saving measure - effectively grandstanding with somebody else's benefits, as no reduction in the gym fees charged ever came about. 'Highhanded' springs to mind. The amount of water used in a sauna is minimal - a cup on the rocks every now and again. Looks more like a sly bit of money-saving than water saving. Calls to the gym only begets "Call Head Office" - an 0860 number with endless push-this-or-that menus followed by tinny music and some inane work-out I'm supposed to do with the phone receiver pressed to my ear whilst I wait. It wasn't yours to give away, Virgin. That's theft. Give it back.
