Virgin active and Vitality - I couldn't believe it!

<p>I've been virgin active member for two years now and with my discovery keyfit account, I've been paying the discounted rate. I gym at durbanville-great staff, always friendly, really a good gym. I changed my Discovery medical aid and switched over to Vitality. After noticing that Virgin deducted the full fee this month, I contacted them so we can change it. (That's not a problem, there are always little issues when one makes changes-part of life). I then received an email back from Virgin saying that I have to sign a completely new contract and have to pay the joining fee of R2000 (AGAIN) and then they can cancel my current contract. Virgin active-are you serious? I generally do not complain about services, because I know it's not the easiest job working with people who constantly complain, but this is absolutely shocking!! I could not believe it. I still can't believe it. I changed my medical aid and Im now paying more for the better lifestyle. In theory I should be paying less gym fees, not have to restart the entire process! And then repay the joining fee! I do not want to join another gym, I like virgin active durbanville, but if this is how you treat your clients, I'll gladly cancel my contract and expect a repayment of the 100% fee in January. </p>
