Virgin Active allow theft of their clients belongings without allowing us to get footage in the public area

I went to Virgin Active Cresta this morning, for the first time in years as I usually go to Victory Park and Bryanston.

Haven't ever had an incident of any of my stuff for over 10 years now. I securely locked my clothes and valuables in a locker and checked that it was securely locked. On opening my locker after a 3 minute ****erally) shower I found that my cellphone was gone and the lock was damaged. After I reported this and asked if I can get the footage from the public area outside the toilets they said they would not give this to me.

This reeks of inside job and I'm pretty certain it's staff as there was a cleaner looking at me just before I went to shower.

I don't have a problem that my R25 000 device was ******, I have a problem that they won't share the video of the public area showing who walked out of the bathroom, which means they are assisting the *****.

It's the cleaners or other gym staff.. it's obvious as daylight, otherwise why wouldn't they be willing to share the footage with me?

I guarantee this is happening several times a month at this branch.. maybe at several branches as I see there's similar complaints at Northgate, etc.. and they just leave it happen without following up and reporting numbers, reviewing footage etc.
