Virgin Active-actively a rip-off gym #AvoidVirginActiveRip-OffGym

Hi. I've been a member of Virgin Active since the days in the 80's when they were Health and Racquet in Cape Town. I then took a break, living overseas (210 - 2017). I then rejoined at Tygervalley early 2018. I then had test on 12 March 2018 and was seriously ill. I was informed to urgently have a major operation. I had my operation 27 Jul 2018. I could not gym due to my condition. I only realise that Virgin was still withdrawing money for my(partner's) account fr her bank- a year post my contract ending. For May 2018 fr the first year I paid my monthly membership fee. I approached/emailed Virgin Active on all levels. Over a period of the last 3 months and since 2018. It just seemed like 'They don't care at all... If they admit and pay me back R 1 290 x 11 months. I will pursue them in whatever way to the end. Kevin Ps they asked me fr medical proof. I furnished them with my clearance certificate fr my doctors. (Dr Allison Moore & Dr Wiecht at Somerset Hospital) Ps. I have dealt with 5 people(machines) since 2018 and no closure while my money is drawing interest in Virgin Active's bank account. Ps. don't contact me: We sorry and hope to assist you(bullish.t).
