Very unhelpful and protecting a *****.

on Sunday the 5th of May ,i went to virgin active Tygervalley and left after 13h00 upon arriving at home i noticed i forgot my make up bag worth of R6000-R7000 at the gym.i went back to the gym and asked the reception if anybody has brought it down there.they asked i go to the change room to check with the cleaner ,when i got there i asked the cleaner if she has seen my bag ,she the asked "the red one"to which i responded yes.she told me that a lady "client " who was with her children took it and said it belonged to her friend.i went downstairs and told the manager on duty and he called the cleaner and asked her would she be able to point out the lady should she be shown the CCTV and she said yes.the Monday i was called and informed that they have identified the lady and would run their system to be able to identify her.Wednesday i went to the gym and suggested they call the lady,the cleaner and myself so we can talk about the issue.so the manager on duty went ahead and called the lady and she told him the bag was given to her child.

i am very dissapointed how the club manager handled this case .when i called the police to open the case he became hostile towards the police when they informed him that they would need the client's details when the case has been opened.i feel he was protecting the organisation he works for forgetting that what actually happened was real and affected me in a negative way.he failed to assist and protect me to such an extend that i get panic attacks when i get to that gym and would be cancelling my membership .some one might say "is just make up" but to me it is more than that,it is something that i have been collecting for years and it has sentimental value to me.
