Very frustrated Virgin member!

This has been the most distasteful experience of my entire journey. I have opened a new Virgin Active contract in August. I also started my own medical aid and paid for my own vitality. For a couple of months, I have tried to get Virgin to change my records (of a previous old contract I had on their system) from a spouse of a medical aid to sole member of the medical aid. After three months, dealing with staff at Virgin Active Waterfall and Lonehill it has become apparent that I am now eventually a member and not a spouse on their membership. Now... they have cancelled my vitality on their system. I am now being billed from R438 to R1300 per month and told if I want to cancel my gym contract I must pay over R5000, if I want my vitality renewed on the system I must pay the joining fee of R799 again otherwise keep on continuing to pay over R1000 for my contract. I contacted Discovery and they confirmed that my points are active even on the day I discovered that my vitality was cancelled they have given me the points for my gym visit on their system, on my app on my phone my vitality is active, my payment with vitality went through and paid, they still give me my vitality points for the gym visits but on their system its reflects I am no longer a vitality member. I am totally frustrated. As a single mother supporting my son on my own it is very annoying when someone just takes over a R1000 from my bank account without notifying me in writing, not informed me of the status of my gym contract, I have driven to the branches endlessly fighting with the staff and empty promises that they would phone and let me know when something is fixed. I stopped going to the gym until this issue is resolved? And now its even in a bigger mess.!! If Discovery did not cancel my vitality then who did? Where is the proof of the instruction to Discovery? or Virgin Active? It is beyond ridiculous. All this mess only because I have started my own medical aid with vitality and could no longer continue on my ex' medical aid as a spouse? As a service provider to Discovery I think Virgin should tend to more professionalism and action and get involved with queries from clients. Please help how am I suppose to resolve this matter now? If I am allocated my vitality points surely my active vitality with Discovery is on your system? Why would you just cancel it without any explanation and tell me it is from Discovery's side? Fix and upgrade your systems!!
