Very disappointed - standards have DROPPED!

I'm very disappointed with Virgin Active Sunninghill.

1) They have been renovating the bathroom area since the the end of July. Bathrooms (as in toilets) were only open on 24 August, so if i wanted to go to the loo during that period, I would have nowhere to change nor have a basic human right of a toilet while at the gym. The sauna and steam room are STILL being renovated, so have not been able to use this "exclusive feature" of VA in over 2 months. Why are we paying for a gym that is semi-functional?

2) Since migrating from Planet Fitness, Virgin Active has consistently and steadily lowered it's standards. Where is the Body Tracker? There was a machine that would track my body fat percentage, measure my weight and height and blood pressure. That machine was removed and we were promised that new upgraded machinery would be replacing that Tracker. 2 years on, and YOU HAVE NOT REPLACED THE ONLY PRODUCT that made the exorbitant price of VA membership worthwhile.

3) VA Sunninghill has got to be the SMALLEST gym in Johannesburg. Sunninghill is such a big suburb, and growing, and they gym is already packed to capacity, and you're still selling membership. Where do you expect everyone to workout? As it stands, on most week-day evenings (peak period) you have to QUEUE to use the treadmill. Groups Classes are PACKED to capacity, and there are VERY LIMITED choices of class to attend. Compared to the VA at Brigh****er Commons, VA Sunninghill is in the dark ages in terms of class choice, instructors and SPACE. WHY ARE you guys wasting money renovating bathrooms, instead of making more SPACE for your members to workout? You could make the entire ba*****t a whole other level as there is already ample parking at Chilli Lane. The gym is just too small people!

4) My annual membership fee will be increasing from R477 to R600 on 30 November. I am gobsmacked! A whopping 25% increase? Is this even LEGAL? Why is my membership not going up by the standard 10-15%? I find this grossly shady and underhanded. Especially since you claim the increase will make the gym better? HOW? By removing things that members like? And not bothering to replace them? By renovating bathrooms that work perfectly fine? By having the same boring set of classes and offering nothing unique or different? I need a detailed explanation of my annual increase is 25% instead of the standard increment? And, if you won't increase it by the standard % then I want you to cancel my contract on 29 November 2017. I would rather then go back to Planet Fitness than allow you guys to take my money and not give me anything in return apart from queuing to use a treadmill.
