Verbally Abused and tormented by Virgin Active Security Gaurd

<p> Went to Virgin Active Rosebank is morning. I am a national virgin active member and a gym fanatic. I went to the gym since it was my weigh in morning. I went in around 09:20 and weighed and left. By error I forgot to validate my ticket and only realised when I go to the gate. Was very polite and said I forgot to validate and only realised now and requested that the gentlemen open for me. It was not even 15 minutes I had gone in. I was shocked by his verbally abusive word that came shortly after that. He said, yes you people think you better than others and you are so used to other securities opening for you. "So, today I am going to show you and teach you a lesson. I will not open and you will go back and validate your ticket. I will make an example of you. You so used to think your important. I will not open and you will do as I tell you or else I will let you sit and rot there in that spot. You women are like that." In my horror and defense, I asked him to please open. He said I will teach you a lesson today. I was verbally abusive and felt so unsafe. I feared for my safety. I then went to his supervisor and related what is happening. The guy was very polite and he said. He needs to open; I will talk to him. The guy continued to swear and demonstrated in front to his supervisor and refused to open and said, "that woman must stay there the whole day" I won’t open. The supervisor politely said, I'm sorry and we will escalate the matter. As much as he said that, I know nothing will be done. I go to this gym 5 times a week and no longer feel safe as a woman if I can be tormented and abused by the security. I pay a lot of money to Virgin. The least they can do is to ensure the service we receive excellent. As far as I'm concerned, the gym is not accommodating to women's safety. I have never been abused and feared for my life like this in my entire life. If the security had a point to prove, he chose the wrong approach of thinking he can go around abusing women. Virgin Active Rosebank needs to ensure that the security abides by the same values they have. I think I need to escalate the matter to the police. Terrified to a point I will no longer go to this gym if that security man is still there. I fear for my safety and being physical assaulted. The anger on his face will forever haunt me. I am not a psychologist or anything but the man has anger management problems and should not be exposed to customers. I have a photo of him and no name.</p>
