VA Newmarket - False advertising on 50% discount for referrals

In January 2026 I joined VA at Newmarket Alberton with the assistance of Brian who's a salesperson at the club. Within the same month, I recommended two of my colleagues to join with the hopes that I will get a 50% discount for each recommendation but to date Brian has taken me from pillar to post with regards to giving me my discount. He claimed that he needs to contact the head office but when I contacted the head office, they told me that he needed to do it but he still refuses to give me my discount which leads me to believe that this discount campaign from VA is false advertising as their employees refuse to honor it. furthermore, upon joining I indicated to Brian that I want to move to vitality and he failed to capture that information and now he's telling me that I need to wait for 6 months before I move to vitality. I am appalled by the treatment that I have received from this salesperson and every time I ask for a different salesperson at the club for assistance, I keep being referred to Brian and when I call the head office they tell me to ask Brian to fix my membership and he's been of no help to me after joining. May you please assist me in resolving this matter
