Unhappy payee and club member

A few weeks ago I was rather angered and disappointed at the Fichardtpark club in Bloemfontein. I'm an avid virgin active member and have been there for over 10years. Now recently me and a couple of member decided that we are going to gym together as a group still adhering to social distance by working out in our respective assigned boxes with each having their own equipment. This had really meant a lot to us because it meant we are supporting each other and holding each other accountable. Now it came to light that some personal trainers had an issue with this and we were finally handed a warning by the club manager. This was actually disheartening because we come to the gym to distress, socialize even from a distance to at least make it enjoyable. What is appauling to me is the insecurities of the personal trainers and their insecure complaints. It's quite disappointing that we are expected to pay month in month out, with no floor instructors assisting us while we work out and when we start assisting each other, we are told to stop. Does virgin active not put the needs of their members? The manner in which the club was handled was also of bad taste. I have been holding virgin active in such high regard up until recent events. We were advised it's against club regulations. So riddle me this. If me and a friend gym together for support why is that such a problem. To think that we continue paying regardless of the fact that times are tough, simply because we consider those that might loose their jobs if we don't. And because the environment was one where you can go to to distress during these very difficult time. Now we are sanctioned on the very thing that keeps us sane. I'm utterly disappointed that I really feel the need to cancel my contract and that of my family.
