Unacceptable billing

So I use to beling to virgin active gym but then.they stopped billing my acc now they call me.up after 6 months saying I owe them a ridiculous amount of money and that I make payment within two days never was I ever contacted in any way about my bill.or anything I have other stuff to pay now im threatened with lawyers etc if I dont pay.
