TOXIC SWIMMING POOL AT MILPARK- BEWARE GYM GOERS!

Toxic swimming pool at Milpark!! I saw a man in the pool blowing his nose about 4 times very loudly and aggressively in the pool water. He was obviously sick. I don't know how long he was doing that in the pool before I got there. Why was the staff not confronting him? I had to jump out of the pool. The next day I felt very sick with my sinuses and ears clogged, eyes were red and had a fever which got worse. I had to take 2 sets of antibiotics plus 8 other flu medications. Even til today I still have a sinus problem which was continuous for the last 5 months and never got rid of this weird bubbly phlegm from my sinuses. The doctor suggests I do an xray which may result in sinus surgery. I have never experienced this before and I am normally very healthy. This prevented me from going to the gym for 5 months and affected my income. I was still paying monthly, not to mention all the costs I incurred for the medical bills and feeling terrible. This was not my fault. How can gym visits be this risky to a person's health? Why are the staff not monitoring the behaviour in and around the pool. This is absolutely disgusting hygiene! It makes me want to cancel my membership. Head office refuses to get involved or do anything about this. They keep pushing me to the branch manager at Milpark who also refuses to assist me or reimburse my medical bills and the incident I experienced. Their insurer for Virgin Active claims that they are covered by their terms and conditions and can't do anything about the incident. Beware gym goers!! I had to tell them how to do the investigation and to check their cameras. They saw the man I identified but can't find him for the last 5 months! Which is a lie! They insist that their pool is sanitary but I am proof that it is not as my condition has not resolved. I have not seen any proof of the pool being sanitary. It also feels unclean. I insisted that I am reimbursed my memberships fees for those 5 months of not using their services and he promised to give me 5 months free membership but payment still went through in May! He has not delivered on his promises and the don't care attitude of Management and Head office is shocking! They are supposed to be protecting public health but are running away from responsibility!
