Told to take my membership else or else I'm be suspended for recovering my membership card.

On 2018/01/15 at about 17h30,I walked into virgin active welkom health club,I explained to the lady known as Shaida,that my card might be misplaced and I recall that I came into the gym twice and I haven't found it, I handed the lady R50 for new card replacement and I left for my workout session.

When i reached the male bathroom, I asked one of the cleaners if he might have notice a card laying around and he rep**** "please check with reception. After my workout session.I went to reception to ask about my lost membership card after I have paid for the replacement of the card. Another unknown lady checked into container full of membership cards.it happened that my card was found and was marked my name on it.

I asked why wasn't I informed about my card or why let me so a new replacement on my membership whilst the receptionist can check before.virgin active always sends me emails concerning certain issues regarding the club.I asked for my refund and I was told that I will never get it cause the system will not allow it.I than asked for the manager and I was directed to the club captain known as Lancoe.

Mr Lancoe was aggresive towards me for rising my point regarding the membership card,he told me that I will not get a refund and I should **** off and not come with ****. I than asked him to consider our matter to be private due to other members attention.while in the office, he told me to even cancel my membership or else he will suspend me as they always suspended the white boys.

I further demanded to see his above manager and he asked me to wait by the door and he went in the office written staff only, after a while he came back and said to "Simon said , if you lose it, we will give you a new card at no cost.I rep**** by telling him that "when it's lost,il pay for a new one, now I want to be refunded.Lancoe chased me out of the gym and even followed me outside shouting that I will not enter cause he even mentioned that without my new card I will not enter.

I feel like welkom virgin active needs to treat member with class and with equity.I don't have the motive to go back to the club cause he even mentioned that his going to write a false report about the incident yet I lay my trust on them while within the gym club premises.am so disappointed about Mr Lancoe behaviour.
