Thievery

My son turned 18 and they are forcing me to either: Pay R1500 're-activation' fee (he is viewed as an adult) or pay a cancellation fee. They are forcing me to recontract, but they are also forcing me to incur additional costs? How is that treating customers fairly? I wanted to keep my son on my contract and at the gym, he has been there for over a year, but now I need to chose between R1500 (and an increase in monthly fees) and R851 penalty fee. It does not make any business sense and it is definitely not treating customers fairly.

I guess this is not the first complaint about the same thing, so I am probably wasting my time and increasing my blood pressure unnecesarily. I cannot wait to get rid of my contract with you and I will make sure that I inform everybody I know who is currently attending the gym or who considers to join the group. The whole Vitality/Virgin collaberation is a **** to lure customers and then ***** them over.
