Their miscommunication your problem

I joined Virgin Active in Cresta exactly 2 years ago on a 2 years contract, sales people would come to the mall and ask people to join. So I was given the 2 year contract and told the terms and conditions and later went to the gym at Cresta then Got my card everything was perfect. As months flew by I would get email bout promotions and eating plans but nun about increments and my contract. When signing up for a contract of a certain duration you expect it to last for that period in this case 2 years so on Saturday 1 April at exactly 4:27pm I got a debit order from Virgin debiting R600 instead of the usual R485, banks were full and it was late and could only see them after work on Sunday.

Called the sales manager he told me my contract automatically ran onto a month to month notice then I asked why is it that you don't contact your Customers in regards of their contract to enquire if they would love to continue or not because that was the first time I actually heard about such so they basically work on the 'call us we won't call you' system.. now all I'm getting is a Sorry we can't do anything for you but they could see that my contract ended and did not effort to let me know or try to keep my signed up, this is very appalling from a company I respected so much for their good service.. too bad.
