Terrible off boarding experience

Very unpleasant off boarding process, I cancelled my gym contract asked very nicely to cancel immediately as it was for financial reasons, they said will check into it and let me know out of integrity because of what I said I did not use the gym. Only 20 days later with no response to my previous request which I thought was resolved, tell me I owe them prorata money. For something I have not used in a month. Our integrity I cannot recommend this gym group to anyone because of this experience and if you do want to join beware to their contracts in a big way.
