Telling member to leave when load shedding
I am furious with the level of service at Virgin Active Vanderbijlpark.<br> It was 5:50pm and load shedding was already in full effect when a staff member of the virgin active gym shouts through a mega-phone that \all members are to evacuate the gym in the next 10 minutes."Their reason"

12 Jun 2015, 13:36Hello SamBam007,
Thank you so much for taking my call today.
We understand that load shedding is super disruptive to your workout routine and that is why we have arranged that you can access any other club ( excluding RED and Classic clubs) when your home club is experiencing a power outage.
We have been looking at how best to solve the issue of load shedding and have investigated the installation of generators. Unfortunately, the type and size of generators required to power a health club is not feasible for many reasons, exhaust fume pollution and the fact that each club will need to be closed for several weeks to accommodate the rewiring of all facilities and equipment.
Once again I would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused.
Kind Regards
Robyn
