Such a waste of a once great gym

After reading the comments regarding Virgin Active and the fact they couldn’t be bothered reply shows how much they really care. I signed up for a year and because I moved I never could never make time for the year, However I honoured the contracted and paid my monthly subscriptions. To make sure they never renewed that contract, I phoned them and told them to not renew it automatically as they are want to do. Their clearly untrained staff insisted I had to personally come in to resign my membership. I asked them why would I need to because if it was only for a year. If they would prefer, I would send an email to confirm it. Still not acceptable. Virgin used to be such a decent gym. Such a pity
