Staff abuse

Lynne Callinun and Christa Khulongane were abusive towards me, I had to resign to stay away from trouble as I have complained several times but no action was taken.

When I started in 2015/07/01 Lynne told me she doesn't believe in me.

I tried to move away from her to other club but she told me no one is supposed to be move, as per NSD. on the same month 3 consultant from Sandton we're moved to different gyms. When I was serving notice I was called to the office by ASM to cut my notice, while I was busy eating in the kitchen Lynne cut my lunch and asked me to leave the building even though I told her I want to take a shower after, I had to request from reception to allow me in as it was open weekend. She forced to go through my exit forms even though my administrator (Simphiwe), told her it's private and confidential, she responded by saying Linda Raoleka advised her to read and send.

When I went through divorce I was Denied day off by ASM (Donald) and CGM(Lynne) stated that they don't believe me, had to communicate using work line and was charged for it.

I had to call icas for counselling but was denied off days to go for my counselling, I had to do it lunch time and get back to work which lead to poor performance.

Below are the word that were send after advising my area sales manager (Donald) that I was leaving: 'no funny illnesses/bleeding eye *****, deaths/elephant is napping people etc', (Words from ASM), I never complained as I have just started at Morningside and was afraid to lose my job.

I had to stay strong at Morningside even though my ASM and my CGM were making fun of me in front of my colleagues about my situation, I was strong because some of them could see that I was wrongly abused and they were comforting me. I once approached my previous sales manger Dexter as to why Lynne was referring me as 'is this the I'll see every time I open the door's, just because my desk was right by the door.

Most of the staff at Morningside are not happy and always sick because of the treatment we receive from Lynne and Christa.

I've worked for Virgin Active for over 13 years and I know that it was the best company to work for as I've learned everything there.

I wish something can be done to make sure everyone is happy well trained and not be threatened about losing their jobs at Morningside.
