selective cancellation of contract

My 2yr contract with VA ended on 31.Dec.17, because I didn't want any problems I reminded them on the 24.Nov.18 that I won't be contiuing with the contract thus terminating it. When opening the contract I registered my family under my name - husband & 2 kids. And when it was terminated autometically their contracts become terimated but no not with virgin active they cancelled mine & the kids and left my husband's when I asked why did they do that, they say he did not cancel how convinient for VA. listen to this lousy explanation 'what if he wants to continue using the gym', I signed up for the contract and am the person who should say what happens after that because the deductions come from my account. I'm being told that his account is in arreas. I don't have a contract wit VA and that' it!
